Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Reverend Franklin McKeehan

   Pastor Frank and Sue McKeehan came to serve the Clear Lake and Gary UMC churches in July 2010. They have two children. Leigh, their daughter is married and has two children and they live in Broomfield, CO. Paul, their son is married and lives in Apple Valley, MN, and they have two children.

    Pastor Frank and Sue have served United Methodist Churches in Dell Rapids, SD, Sturgis, SD, and Pembina, ND. They also served the La Mirada, CA while Pastor Frank attended seminary at the School of Theology at Claremont. Pastor Frank also served Jonesburg, MO, while he attended St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City. He received a Master of divinity degree with a specialty in rural ministry.

    Sue is retired from the state of South Dakota as an IT Specialist. She now has a quilting and sewing business called “Sue Ellen Quilts.” Sue also helps in the church office as an assistant.

 Michelle Gross

      Michelle and her husband, Jayme, are members of the church, and Michelle has been the administrative assistant for the church since the spring of 2008. They have one son, Ethan.
 
     Michelle enjoys golfing, sewing, baking, reading, and other home DYI projects. She brings to the church her skills as an award winning graphic designer from the South Dakota Newspaper Association, with over 26 first place awards. Michelle also has many years of experience as a portrait photographer.

Mike Schiefelbein
Mike and his wife, Becky, live on a farm near Clear Lake. Mike likes to golf, fish and raise sheep. Becky likes to garden, camp, and visit their grandchildren.
 
Paul Brandt

Paul his wife, Lisa, near Clear Lake with Paul’s brother, Joel.  Lisa was a teacher at Deuel School for many years. 

 
Deb Lessman

Deb is a retired teacher and is now the 4-H Youth Program Advisor for Deuel County.

 

Nikki Olson

Nikki is a customer service rep at ITC.  Her husband, Byron, is the general manager at Roelofsen Implement, Inc in Toronto, They enjoy camping, gardening and canning. Nikki is also co-chair for Christian Outreach and is a Sunday School Teacher.

 

Becky Krause

Becky is also our Sunday School Superintendent. Becky and her husband Robb, farm with their sons. Becky is retired from banking. Becky enjoys baking and teaching and Robb enjoy stock car racing, snowmobiling and watching sports. 

Pat Luecke

Pat is also C0-President of our UMW Unit. Pat and her husband, John, farmed and ranched for 40 years. After retiring Pat and John spent seven years at the Tree of Life Mission on the Rosebud Reservation of the United Methodist Church.

 
Jane Evenson

Jane is a Tax Preparer at Gunderson Law Firm. A member of Kiwanis Club, and enjoys volunteer jobs for church. Dennis a Attorney at Gunderson Law Firm, Director for Crystal Springs Rodeo,  

Shirley Krause
Edwin and Shirley are retired. They enjoy time with family and traveling.  Shirley is very active in our church family. 
Phyllis Niemann
Phyllis and her husband, Hank, are retired from farming. Along with Pat Luecke, Phyllis is Co-President of the UMW unit.
Wade Gubrud
Wade works as an agronomist and his wife, Jane, works for the SD Department
of Education. The family enjoys doing being outdoors and participating in sports.
Riley Krause

Riley farms with his father, Robb, and  brother,Landon. His wife, Emily, is working at the Canby Schools as the Title I teacher and at Deuel Elementary in Clear Lake as the Head Start Teacher.

Jolene Krause
Jolene is co-chairperson for the Christian Outreach Ministry Team along with Nikki Olson.
Rhonda Baxter
Rhonda Baxter and her husband, Gary, reside in Clear Lake. Both of them are retired and spend their free time volunteering in the community.
